If your Location uses the Generic Script protocol and you want to respond to a request 'manually' to indicate the borrower/requester wishes to cancel, then you can use this action on the borrower/requester's behalf.
This is useful when the requesting location is unable to send an ILL message via the VDX system. This still updates the VDX database and moves the request from In Process to Not Supplied. The Note field is available for you to record relevant information.
